Company History

1972

German group FTH Hamburg creates FTH Mulhouse.

1984 - 1985

Bongrain takes over FTH and Le Monte-Vite.

1986

Newtec trademark gets registered. FTH is specialised in bag palletizing and Le Monte Vite becomes Newtec Bag Palletizing, a specialist for unit load palletizing systems.

1995

ITW buys Newtec International.

1997

MBO with 3i and IPO (palettizing divison of ITW).

2001

Hermier buys Newtec International (Newtec FTH+Newtec Palettisation), MBO with 3i & IPO; the group becomes Newtec International Group.

2002

Companies of the group are named to identify their activity: Newtec Bag Palletizing, Newtec case palletizing, Newtec handling systems (somefi+samovie), Newtec filling systems (mapco).

2006

MBO with Perfectis and IPO; the group becomes Newtec Packaging.

2008

Newtec Packaging buys FLSystems renamed Newtec Alvey, manufacturing palletising and distribution systems.

2010

Globalisation of the NEWTEC Group.

2011

Selling of filling, logistics and distribution activities. Strategic focus on end-of-line solutions.

2012

Selling of the unit load activity and acquisition of Newtec Bag Palletizing by the Haver & Boecker Group.
